Solar panel repair

Repair is for a solar system that has a problem right now. Production has dropped, the inverter is showing a fault, a panel is cracked, or something came loose after a storm or roof work. The goal of a repair visit is simple: find what failed and fix it.

Mohr Energy repairs solar electric, solar thermal, domestic hot water, and pool heating systems at homes and properties in Corona and nearby Southern California cities, including systems we did not originally put in.

Signs Your Solar System Needs Repair

  • A sudden drop in output on your monitoring app or electric bill, with no change in the weather.
  • Inverter fault codes or warning lights that keep coming back after a reset.
  • Cracked glass, burn marks, or impact damage on one or more panels.
  • Panels that have shifted or a mount that looks loose or uneven.
  • No hot water or no pool heat from a solar thermal system that used to work.

Solar Repairs We Handle

Panels, wiring, and connectors

Damaged panels, failed connectors, and loose or worn wiring can shut down part of an array or the whole system. We trace the fault to the specific component and repair or replace that part.

Mounts and roof-related damage

When debris, wind, or roof movement has disturbed the array, we repair the mounting and reattach the equipment so it sits securely on the roof again.

Solar hot water and pool heating

Thermal systems fail differently than electric panels. We work on the collectors, connections, and circulation parts that keep water moving and heating.

Repair or Replace a Damaged Panel?

Most problems are limited to one panel, connector, or mounting point, and a targeted repair is the practical fix. When damage is spread across several components, we explain what is worth repairing and what is not, so you can decide with the full picture.

If your system is running normally and you just want it kept that way, Solar Panel Maintenance is the better fit. If you are not sure anything is wrong and need an assessment first, start with a Solar Panel Inspection.

Solar Panel Repair FAQ

Can you repair a system another company installed?

Yes. Most of our work is on existing systems, and the original installer does not need to be involved.

My system still produces some power. Does it really need repair?

A system can keep running with one damaged panel or a failing connection, but output stays lower and the damage can spread. It is worth having it checked once you notice the change.

What should I tell you when I call?

Describe what changed and when, any fault codes on the inverter or app, and whether there was recent roof work, wind, or falling debris. Photos help too.

Do you repair solar pool heating systems?

Yes. We repair solar pool heating and domestic hot water systems as well as solar electric panels.
